“Great heroes need great sorrows and burdens, or half their greatness goes unnoticed. It is all part of the fairy tale.” ―
Great sorrows and burdens most definitely come your way when you study Content Strategy at the FH Joanneum Graz. My colleagues and I have experienced a lot of stress caused by the heavy workload so far but although we struggled at times, I think we all have grown and developed.
For the course Open Space and Portfolio 3: Social Media Formats and Platforms we are required to create posts for a portfolio on a regular basis and this post is part of it but this time it is dedicated to the portfolios of the COS17 content heroes.
Designwiesel by Sarolta
It is always a pleasure to read articles in Sarolta’s portfolio. The site is a treat for the eye, the mind and the soul. In her posts she reflects about courses but also about the study programme’s impact on her life. The articles are well written, clearly structured and most importantly they are insightful and informative. Even if you do not consider studying Content Strategy, click on the link above and enjoy.
Barbara provides professional tips relating to content strategy in German. Her writing style is clear and to the point. The minimalistic style imparts a classy impression on the blog which is well worth reading.
Genial Content by Genya
If you want the truth and nothing but the unmasked truth, then Genya’s blog is the perfect site for you. Genya writes about content strategy in a very personal way. She is for example not afraid to report about mistakes that she made with her startup in the post 8 proven tips to f*ck up your startup (whenever I think about the last tip, I have to laugh out loud). Her direct and brutally honest posts make you laugh and think at the same time. Ingenious indeed!
Reibereien by Phil
If you like to read clever but less formal posts about content strategy, you will most definitely enjoy Phil’s Reibereien. His conversational style makes it fun to read articles about accessibility, UX etc. The posts are written in German and if you don’t speak the language, that is too bad for you.

More Content Heroes
I would love to go on like this with all the other great portfolios that my COS17 colleagues have created but it would take too long. However, I provide a list with links to their blogs and highly recommend that you check them out.
